This kid has been on fire lately, tearing up the opening round of CMC Golden State and the opening round of the Amateur Supercross at Lake Elsinore MX Park. We decided to hook Jaisaac up with the 2-Minute Drill to get to know him a little more. Enjoy.

Where are you from Jaisaac? I’m from Phoenix, Arizona.

How long have you been racing? I’ve been racing since I was seven and probably two years of that I was out with injuries.

Out here at the opening round of CMC you’ve won your first two motos so far, what do you think about that, are you pretty pumped? Yeah I’m pretty pumped, it was good out there. I didn’t expect to be able to sweep it so easily and go out there and get the lead so quickly.

Your dad said you guys were moving out here from Phoenix, what’s the plan behind that? We’re coming out here and probably going to stay for the summer, because out here is where the industry is and there’s a lot of good tracks. Back in Arizona there are not a lot good tracks so we’re coming out here to just getting some good riding in.

Any plans for nationals this year? Yeah if everything goes well, we’ll go to every national we can.

What did you race last year and what were your results? My results were up and down, I hade some bad luck. I got injured and broke my elbow right at the beginning of the season and missed most of the nationals. At Ponca I was doing well until the end where I had a few bad incidents and falls and then went to Loretta’s and got knocked out in practice. After that I went to Dodge, Branson, and Arizona where I did pretty well. I won a championship in Arizona.

For Christmas, did you get anything special? I got my iphone, so I’m pretty pumped on that. We went to Utah and my parents rented a big cabin so that was kind of a big present as well for the whole family.

Support wise, who do you have behind you? Fox shocks, PR2, Proskin, PJ1, my Mom and Dad and the whole family.
