CMC Golden State Round #2 Report

The 2nd round of the CMC Golden State Series visited the Starwest MX Park Sunday, January 10th. Starwest recently just switched the track the other way making for some good racing throughout the day. Round three of the CMC Golden State Series will be at Glen Helen January 17th.

image Steven Tokarski went 1 and 2 in the 250 Intermediate class to take 2nd overall behind David Meade. Tokarski capitalized in the 250 open class were he took the overall over Meade.

image Kye Turner went 1-1 in the 50cc 7-8 class for the overall.

image Kevin Weisbruch nabbed a pair of 5th place finishes in the 250 and 450 Intermediate classes. Weisbruch’s best overall of the day came in the Schoolboy class where he posted a 2nd overall behind Damion Tackett.

image Kevin Tetley made a run in the 450 Open class grabbing the 2nd spot overall behind Mike Meade. Tetley also put tighter some other top finishes to take 4th in the 450 Intermediate and a 6th in the 250 Intermediate classes.

image Justin Hoeft put together a strong performance in the mini ranks. Hoeft put on a battle to win the overall over top Suzuki mounted riders Tristian Miller and Jantz Grodzicki in the 85cc Open. Hoeft backed it up with a 2nd in the 12-13 class and a 3rd in the Supermimi class.

image Austin Madigan took home the first place trophy in the 65 Beginner class.

image Anthony Amos was an overall winner in the 85cc14-16 class, and then went out and backed it up with a 2nd place finish in the Supermini class behind Jantz Grodzicki.

image Tristian Miller (35) and Jantz Grodzicki (96) put on a show in the Supermini class where Grodzicki came out on top with the overall. Grodzicki also took home the win in the 12-13 class and took third overall in the 85cc Open class behind Miller. Miller posted a win in the 7-11 class over Robbie Wageman.

image Kawasaki mounted Jacque Halstead aced both her motos over Erika Werner to take the overall in the Women’s Class.

image John Leddy rode a total of 6 motos for the day, taking two first place overalls in the 25 Plus and 30 Plus classes. The stepped it up for the Pro class taking 3rd overall in the 450 Pro class.
