Moto X Kids Spring Series
Feb 3rd, 2010 By Brian BatesJan 17th kicked off the season for the Moto X kids 8 race Spring Series, sponsored by Factory Backing at Lake Elsinore MX Park. The newly designed Peewee track provided some awesome racing all day long.
MotoXkids is a new and exciting program designed to teach kids about motocross racing in a fun, family friendly atmosphere… All the kids take home medals every race day and race for points for the series championship in each class.
First out of the gate was the PW50/JR50’s classes. In the 4-6 class, after 3 motos of intense racing, it was 4 year old Todd Waterman taking the win, 2nd went to Zander Ramos, 3rd place Peanut. Dylon Vasquez took the win in the 7-8 class..
Next up was the 50cc 2 Stroke 4-6 Starter classes. 5 year old Luke Sparks came across with the win with Ryan Mandre and Zeke Highland battling it out for 2nd and 3rd. 1st Place in the 4-6 Junior division went to Sami Schroeder on her KTM 50cc Junior.
The 2 stroke 7-8 Starter class seen 8 riders battling it out over 3 motos. Riley Curley took the win with Zach Duncan close behind, Aaron Duncan came across the line 3rd.
In the 2 Stroke beginner class Victoria Mathews took the win over Rich Indresano
The 50cc 4 strokes hit the track and after the dust had settled Tyler Buchanan took 1st in the Beginner 4-6 class with Marlon Guardado taking the 4-6 Mod class win, the Stock 4-6 class went to Wyatt Wilkerson, Landon Corsa and Canyon Dietrich. The Stock 7-8 class went to Fletcher Engstrom with Andrea Mcdonald close behind, with the Mod 7-8 class going to Blake Brown
